Matt and Melissa met at the University of Iowa in 2003. Matt is from Batavia, IL and went to Marmion Academy. Melissa is from Addison and graduated from Addison Trail High School. After graduating from Iowa Matt and Melissa moved into a condo in the neighborhood of River West in Chicago. Matt proposed to Melissa on September 3rd, 2007 in Aruba. Matt and Melissa then spent the next 7 days celebrating and vacationing in Aruba, Caracao, and Bonaire with their close friends Matt Glucksmann and Colleen Anderson.
